Eric Maldonado was born and raised in Astoria Queens. He moved to Orange County in 2010, where he began his venture into the cell phone business and now resides in the Town of Montgomery.

Eric is now the co-owner of multiple Verizon Wireless Zone stores. A National Premium Retailer with locations in Newburgh, New Windsor, Montgomery, and a fourth location in Great Barrington, MA.

Honored as Orange County Rising Star in 2012, a graduate of Leadership Orange Legendary Class of 2014 where he received the Leadership Commitment Award, Eric is a dedicated member of the community where he works and lives. He currently serves the Orange County Chamber of Commerce as the Vice Chairman for the Board of Directors, a member on the Board of Directors for Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Inspire Foundation, member of the International Intellectual Property Society in New York City, Past Chairman of the Orange County Young Professionals committee, past co-chair for the Orange County Chambers Annual Gala committee and past co-chair for the Orange Open committee.

In addition, Eric was recognized in May 2020 as the Town of Montgomery Citizen of the month, a Great Guy Honoree in 2019 by the Hudson Valley Cancer Resource Center and received the 2019 Bill Devitt Shining Stars Award from Inspire.
