By completing this form, you are applying for the ESP 10 week course. If accepted in the course, you agree to pay a $399 ($299 if register by 9/1/22) tuition fee, attend a minimum of 90% of classes, and complete a business plan. You are not required to own a business at this time, but it helps if you have an idea for a business.

Thanks to a COVID-Relief grant specifically for the Town of Montgomery, if you are a resident or own a business within the Town of Montgomery, you are eligible for full tuition reimbursement upon meeting the course requirements as outlined above.

The Entrepreneurial Success Program (ESP) is 20 (in-person) sessions, held over a 10 week period on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to 9pm starting September 8th, 2022.

BONUS: Every resident or business owner in the Town of Montgomery who is a student gets one year free membership at the Orange County Chamber of Commerce (valued at $457) and the Business Council of Greater Montgomery (valued at $245). Existing members get one year added to their membership. If classes fill up, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list. There is no payment required with this application. As a first time restaurant owner I had no idea what I didn't know. Fortunately for me, the Town of Montgomery Business Council was there to help me each step of the way. There was several times I felt lost and had to lean on them for guidance and advice. They accepted all of my questions with open arms and helped me in a multitude of different ways. They are an excellent addition to the community and essential for future success of local small business. I am forever grateful and encourage anyone who is currently in business or starting a business to reach out and see how they can help you succeed.

I’m opening a Cupcake Shop in the Village of Walden and I am so glad that I picked the location that I did! Opening a business is tough, but doing it in the Town of Montgomery has made things much easier for me! Without the help of the Town of Montgomery Business Council, I’m not sure I would have made it this far. Between everything Brian Maher has done and Randi Picarello answering my 7 million questions, pushing me when I so desperately needed it and keeping in contact to see how things are going. The Town of Montgomery is thriving with new businesses right now and, if I could guess, it’s because of the Business Council and how willingly helpful they are with assisting in the process!

Not only during the remodel of the building, but all the way throughout the process to make sure things were running smoothly. We had a few loops & delays during the renovations & Tony & I found ourselves a bit stressed at the time...but thankfully Randi helped alleviate some of that by following up on things with the town.
