Dickey Baxter

Richard “Dickie” Baxter

My name is Richard “Dickie” Baxter and I am a Licensed Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams located in Montgomery New York.
Prior to starting my career as a Licensed Real Estate Agent, I studied at Orange County Community College and proudly owned and operated several successful businesses in the Hudson Valley such as: People Hookin’ Up Cars, The Jump Off, Signtific, Mixture of Montgomery, and Coopmade Corp. I am currently working on opening the West Main Street Business Center in the Village of Walden, New York. I am driven by the support of my “Goon Squad,” consisting of my spouse Patricia Maher, my son Cooper, my daughters Madelynn and Brooklyn, and our new baby boy will be joining us in September of 2020.
In 2013, with the support of my family and the encouragement of Larry and Nancy Curasi, I decided to change my career path and become a Licensed Real Estate Agent for the Curasi Realty Family. I retained all the knowledge and expertise I had gained as an entrepreneur in my earlier working years and combined it with my strong dedication, hard work and perseverance and that helped lead me to where I am today. With the support of my broker’s Larry and Nancy Curasi, I have successfully earned several awards throughout the six years of being an agent with Curasi Realty. For 2019 I was acknowledged for the following accomplishments: Agent of Year GOLD award, the #1 Closed AGC, the #1 in Closed Sides, earned the Diamond ($250K+) award, Curasi Realty’s Top 3 Club and the $25 Million Dollar Producer award. A major passion of mine that has contributed to my success is my involvement in my local community. I have been fortunate enough to work with so many wonderful organizations such as The Hudson Valley St. Baldrick’s Foundation, The Kids Wish Network, Hudson Valley Make-A-Wish, The Walden Rotary Club, Be The Movement, Hudson Valley Honor Flight, The Lions Club, The Veterans Wheelchair Olympics, The Backpack Snack Attack, The Holiday Help Out, Adopt-A-Grandparent, Adopt-A-Coat (coat drive) and National Night Out. I also host and organized Walden’s Backpack giveaway for over 10 years giving away over 15,000 backpacks stuffed with school supplies. Most currently, in wake of Covid-19, I was asked to represent the community on the Town of Montgomery Community Response Team.
It takes a lot of patience, dedication, resilience and hard work to be a top producer in this industry. It is equally as hard, if not more difficult, to consistently maintain that status. I am a very proud spouse, father and life-long community member who is honored to have achieved numerous awards and accolades, but it all stems from truly loving what I do. I feel that I am only getting started… the best is yet to come.
Dickie Baxter has received the following awards to date: The 2016 Sam Phelps Community Service award, The 2019 Alice Dickenson Legacy Award, 2014 Rookie of the Year Award, reached the 2014 Circle of Honor, 2015 Leader’s Circle, 2016 Diamond Top 3, 2017 Agent of Year GOLD Award, #1 Closed AGC Diamond Award, reached the Top 3 Club, I was #3 in Closed Rental Sides and reached the $15.7 Million Dollar Producer status. In 2018 I received the Agent of Year GOLD Award, #1 Closed AGC, Diamond Award, reached the Top 3 Club, reached #3 in Closed Rental Sides and $19.3 Million Dollar Producer status. Lastly in 2019, I reached the 2019 Agent of Year GOLD award, reached #1 Closed AGC, #1 in Closed Sides, Diamond ($250K+) award, reached the Top 3 Club, was #2 in Closed Rental Sides and reached the $25 Million Dollar Producer status.
